Maybe I’m just older and wiser but the ember tutorial feels so smooth.

I don’t love the handlebar syntax yet or the decorators, but the documentation and tutorials are quite clear and I at least know why I’m doing what I’m doing and have clear expectations for what should happen in almost all scenarios.

Not too shabby!

I also find it really impressive that almost immediately the community introduces testing. Priorities are reflected in what you do and talk about - and discussing testing this early in an introduction to a new framework is telling.
