nanowrimo 2020: update 1

First day of NaNoWriMo down! I didn’t write any of the actual story, though I am pretty excited because I have an outline! It may not be a great novel (just want to set expectations appropriately!) - but it has a beginning, a middle, and an end. It even makes a little sense (though it will require suspending some disbelief… it’s a book after all!).

There’s a long time between now and the end of the month, but it feels good to get off to a good start and have a foundation to build on. Hopefully the momentum can continue - though there are plenty of headwinds.
